This initiative was born from a desire to support those whose livelihoods were upended by the global crisis. What began as a traditional food distribution drive has evolved into a dignified, community-based "open table" concept that serves the working class and students alike.

Originally, our team and students prepared meals specifically for mendicants near local temples. However, direct feedback from the community changed our perspective; many already had access to basic meals and requested variety instead.

This led us to a vital realization: Hunger does not discriminate between the rich and the poor. We pivoted our model to a self-service table, allowing anyone in need to take a meal pack without judgment. To our surprise, the primary beneficiaries were those often overlooked:

• Auto drivers and daily wage workers
• Sanitation workers (sweepers)
• College students facing financial hardship

The project's growth is a testament to the increasing need and the incredible support of our contributors.

• Starting Capacity: 50 meal packs per session.
• Current Capacity: 125 meal packs per session.

Hunger is a universal human experience. By removing the barrier of "asking" and replacing it with a "taking" system, we have restored dignity to the act of receiving help. We extend our deepest gratitude to the donors and volunteers who make this 125-pack milestone possible every day.
